A local fish market, a dying art, and gentrification are all apart of the Chorillos Fisherman’s Wharf.  The fabrication of a collapsible table to display the days catch began a relationship between Iowa State University and the fisherman of Chorillos.

Following the table project, a master plan was developed to bring community awareness to the blighted wharf.  By reimagining the wharf with simple and easy to build programs, the wharf will begin to transform back into a thriving community that supports the growth of Lima and its citizens.
